The Strad Pad is definitely the most popular chin comforter amongst violinist and violist because of its simplicity and special materials. It is made from a very soft foam like material and can is applied to the chin rest using double sided velcro (included). The Strad Pad also stops you sliding around your chin rest from perspiration. Standard size is suitable for 4/4 and smaller size violins and fractional violas. Large size Strad Pads are suitable for violas 15" and larger. Foam can be cut to size for the smaller chin rests. 'Seconds' Strad Pads may contain small marks in the foam but they do not affect the function or comfort of the Strad Pad.
