It has a two-piece back of lightly-flamed maple with no curl, and the ribs had scroll have been made to match. The top is of a widely grained spruce and has been finished with an amber-gold varnish and ebony fittings. It is in good condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis cello has a bright and focused sound and the tone is well balanced across the upper and lower registers. It has a great projection and each note is full of clarity and vibrancy.
