The Schroeder #100 Cello is ideal for players with a few years of experience who are looking for a more refined sound that projects well for performance. It is also a very popular choice among adult learners seeking a first instrument that will support many years of progress and ensemble playing. Handcrafted in China and professionally set up by our workshop team here in Sydney, the Schroeder #100 produces a rich, broad sound with superb projection.

The cello is crafted from aged spruce and maple tonewoods and finished with a red-brown varnish. It is fitted with ebony pegs and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners, making tuning easy and reliable and allowing players to spend more time learning and playing.

The Schroeder #100 is most suitable for students up to a fifth grade AMEB standard.

All second hand instruments purchased from The Sydney String Centre have been serviced and fitted with new strings, to ensure the instrument is playing at its best. All second hand instruments come with FREE servicing, as per our terms and conditions. Being second hand, the instrument may have some cosmetic blemishes, which are highlighted in the products photos. These blemishes do not impact the sound or performance of the instrument.
