Hatikvah is Israel\032s national anthem. In this tour de force, Elliot Del Borgo takes a simple, but very meaningful folk tune and turns it into an extended concert masterwork. This dynamic arrangement brings out the heart and soul of the tune while bringing it through so many changes. From the dramatic opening to a "Hora"-style dance passage, and even into a brief fugue, Del Borgo has brought his considerable skills to bear on this challenging but rewarding work.
