Illustrated by Michelle Pleasance.  Michelle Pleasance is a maker of illustrations stories and things stitched from cloth.  She's inspired by children's book illustration from the 1920's, vintage tots and childhood nostalgia.  She's always been fascinated with the endless possibilities of a blank piece of paper and a simple pencil to become something wonderful.

The Sydney String Centre sits on the unceded lands of the Gamaragal people. We pay our respects to Elders and communities past, present, and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who also work and live on this land.
