Yamaha SVC300F Silent Cello Brown
The SVC300 Series marks the first model redesign in 19 years. While maintaining the quiet playability of the SILENT Cello, the new model incorporates the SRT Powered System*, delivering the rich resonance and authentic response of an acoustic cello. In addition to the choice of two sound types, players can also adjust the amount of reverb and dynamics by range, allowing them to freely shape their sound according to preference and performance setting. The Series also offers two models with distinct designs and sounds, the C and the F. Each is designed with unique tonal qualities and character, making them suitable for a wide range of applications from recording to live performances.
The SVC300F is a high-end silent cello that closely replicates the feel and sound of an acoustic instrument while retaining the quietness of a SILENT Cello.
Beautiful, Eye-catching Wood Finish
The unique character of natural wood is highlighted by the thin coating on the frame, body, and neck, which brings out the sharp detail of the wood grain.
Beautiful, High-Quality Appearance
Available in Pearl White color variations, these designs highlight the player’s individuality and allow for a more stage-focused performance.
Intuitive Operation and Sound Creation
Machine-type tuning pegs, which are highly rated for use on stage, enable quick tuning even during live performances. The internal cavity structure, inherited from previous models, brings out acoustic resonance even in instruments with no sound box. Experience the true cello tone — a rich, vibrant sound ideal for the stage. A combination of different sound types, blend control, equalizer (treble and bass), and reverbs allows for a high degree of freedom in sound creation.
Dedicated SRT Powered System for the SVC300 Series
Based on our SRT Powered System* technology, we have optimized the methods of creating SRT data and measuring basic recording data for the SVC300 series. The circuits are designed to bring out the distinct tonal characteristics of the SVC300C and SVC300F.
What is the SRT Powered System? The SRT (Studio Response Technology) Powered System is a digital technology that, based on an analysis of the sound of acoustic instruments, adds natural tone and resonance in real time to the sound of instruments that do not have a large sound box, like our Silent Cello. This proven technology, used in our electric violins and silent basses, reproduces the player's unique expression by adding resonance to the analog signal from the instrument’s pickups — rather than relying on any sampled sounds.
