This one-of-a-kind text is a must for students who are making the switchfrom violin to viola. Whistler makes introductory remarks on the notabl e differences in bowing, fingering, resonance, intonation and position study, followed by exercises specialized for development of each of theseareas. The remainder of the book is a progressive course of study for v iola that is appropriately paced for the former violin student.

I love buying from Th String Centre. I live too far to just pop in so will call and ask all kinds of questions and they will either find the right thing straight away or be back to me and send it in the mail the next day.
This book has been a lifesaver for me. Transitioning as a 68year old from
violin to viola has its challenges! This makes it so much easier

The Sydney String Centre sits on the unceded lands of the Gamaragal people. We pay our respects to Elders and communities past, present, and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who also work and live on this land.
