Second Hand Johann Stauffer #500 Viola 14" No.002

The Stauffer 500S violin is the most superior Stauffer model in our intermediate range and has a silky, warm, full-bodied tone. When comparing it to the model 200, the Stauffer 500 has a sweeter, more focused sound, with more richness and tonal complexity and this is due to the use of higher quality wood and workmanship. The Stauffer 500S has a beautifully antiqued gold-brown varnish with light shading and highlighted edges, inlaid purfling, ebony pegs, nut and fingerboard and a tailpiece with in-built fine tune adjusters. All of our Stauffer violins are beautifully hand crafted in China using solid maple and spruce tone woods and professionally setup by the Luthiers in our Sydney based workshop to ensure good playability and quality of sound.

Our second hand instruments
All second hand instruments purchased from The Sydney String Centre have been serviced and fitted with new strings, to ensure the instrument is playing at its best. All second hand instruments come with FREE servicing, as per our terms and conditions. Being second hand, the instrument may have some cosmetic blemishes, which are highlighted in the products photos. These blemishes do not impact the sound or performance of the instrument.
