The Kreisler Rosin for Violin, Viola and Cello, is an excellent and affordable option for beginners and students. Being a light rosin, it creates a clear sound, perfect for those who are learning.

The rosin is attached to a cloth square, which not only helps protect the rosin, but stops your fingers from touching it, whilst also collecting dust when applying. A black storage case keeps the rosin safe when not in use. 

Rosin is used on your bow hair to create friction, allowing the bow to grip the strings and make them vibrate to create sound. Without rosin applied, there is no friction between the bow and strings, meaning no sound. Rosin is created from resin, a by-product of trees, that is heated until it becomes solid.
