Great strings!

I’ve been using Larsen strings on my Vuillaume. Il Cannone Medium for the E and G, and Virtuoso Medium for the D and A, and the difference is remarkable. The slightly lower tension lets the instrument breathe and really sing, opening up the resonance without losing focus or power. Altogether they create a beautifully balanced, responsive setup that feels effortless under the bow. I’ve been a convert to Larsen for the last year or so and I can’t recommend highly enough!

The Sydney String Centre sits on the unceded lands of the Gamaragal people. We pay our respects to Elders and communities past, present, and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who also work and live on this land.
