The N20 is the second instrument in the Nullarbor range by Glanville & Co. Glanville & Co. is a local workshop located right in the heart of Sydney. They were founded on the belief that all Australians should have access to music education and quality instruments that will nurture their development. It is through the fusion of technology & tradition that Glanville & Co. have been able to produce high-quality, customisable, innovative & affordable instruments that are entirely Australian made. This instrument comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The N20 has a two-piece maple back with a moderate flame & the top is made from spruce. This instrument is based on a Stradivari violin model. This violin has a good cover of golden-brown varnish & has been lightly antiqued. The colour of this model has been inspired by the earthy tones of the Nullarbor plains. The N20 has ebony fittings, a Wittner tailpiece & a Teller bridge.

The N20 has a beautiful warmth that gives a level of complexity to the overall tone. The mellow lower register is perfectly balanced with the rich upper register creating a superb blend of sound no matter where or what you play on this instrument. The N20 is suitable for the advanced beginner, intermediate players & the serious amateur. This violin is strung with Larsen Tzigane strings to emphasize the overall richness of this instrument.

Please contact us if you would like to book an appointment to try this beautiful Australian-made violin or attend one of our guided tours of the workshop.
