Paolo Rizzo is a maker in the workshop of Giorgio Grisales.

This cello is labelled "PAOLO RIZZO / Fatto nella bottega di / G. Grisales / Cremonae AD 2025". The body measures 758mm along the back, 343mm across the upper bouts and 440mm across the lower bouts. The back is made with one piece of highly flamed maple with a broad to narrow curl. The ribs and scroll have been made to match. The top is of a moderately grained spruce. It has been finished with an amber-brown varnish and ebony fittings.
