This booklet contains piano accompaniments for the pieces in Tricky Fingers - A First Book for Beginner Strings. The accompaniments have primarily been written to provide students with an aural and rhythmic framework that reinforces what is learnt in the pieces. They also provide an important musical context for the non-melodic exercises in the string books

Repeats have sometimes been placed in the piano part that are not in the string parts (and vice versa) to aid in the layout of the booklet.

If the grace notes and rolled chords in some of the accompaniments are not to the accompanist's taste, these can be left out. Pedal may be used at the accompanists discretion.
