Johann Stauffer #805E Stradivari Model Violin 4/4

The Stauffer #805 Stradivari is a German-made violin in the advanced range that would best fit a player doing an AMEB diploma, or maybe considering HSC music or tertiary study.  It has a sweet, clear sound that tends toward the brighter end of the spectrum, excelling in the upper register where the the violin has a very cantabile character. It is very easy to play, with an easy action and a quick response, which makes it very comfortable for a variety of repertoire. 

It has a two-piece back of maple, a finely grained spruce top, amber-red varnish on a golden ground and ebony fittings.
